creative flutist | educator | founder - five skins interdisciplinary

“Dominyka is an expert flutist with an undeniable solid classical background, showing exceptional versatility on both classical and ethnic flutes. Her beautiful rich tone, and her emotional interpretation of my music, makes her one of my favorite flutists to record with.”
-Herman Beeftink, Los Angeles based TV/Film composer
Dominyka Šeibok is a Lithuanian flutist and interdisciplinary artist whose work bridges music, movement, and theatre. Her performances explore the physical and emotional dimensions of sound - treating the flute not just as an instrument, but as an extension of the body in motion.
Her collaborations include projects with choreographer Joachim Schlömer in L’Europe Sauvage (Switzerland), the Heidi Duckler Dance Company at Ebb & Flow Festival (California), and numerous international appearances as a soloist and ensemble musician. With her collective Five Skins Interdisciplinary, she creates immersive works that merge live performance with visual and physical storytelling; their original score for the Ukrainian silent film Man with a Movie Camera premiered at the Wende Museum of the Cold War (Los Angeles).
A graduate of the Hochschule der Künste Bern, where she studied with Christian Studler, Dominyka is a first-prize winner of the International Juozas Pakalnis Competition and recipient of a Presidential Honor of Lithuania for artistic distinction. She has held the Principal Flute position at the Szczecin Philharmonic in Poland and currently performs as a guest with the Lithuanian National Philharmonic.
Equally devoted to education, she teaches interdisciplinary performance, free improvisation, and movement at the Crescendo Summer Institute in Hungary and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, guiding young musicians toward a freer, more embodied artistic expression. Through both her performances and teaching, she continues to seek the meeting point between discipline and instinct, vulnerability and transformation.
