“Dominyka is an expert flutist with an undeniable solid classical background, showing exceptional versatility on both classical and ethnic flutes. Her beautiful rich tone, and her emotional interpretation of my music, makes her one of my favorite flutists to record with.”
-Herman Beeftink, TV/Film composer
Dominyka Šeibok is a Lithuanian flutist whose work bridges music, movement, and interdisciplinary performance. As a performer, she has collaborated with choreographer Joachim Schlömer in his international production L’Europe Sauvage, and was selected to perform in the Ebb & Flow Festival with Heidi Duckler Dance Company in Los Angeles.
Deeply committed to creative education, Dominyka teaches movement, free improvisation, and interdisciplinary performance at the Crescendo Summer Institute in Hungary. She also nurtures creative development within local and international communities through workshops and mentorship.
Her company, Five Skins Interdisciplinary, creates hybrid productions that fuse live instrumental music with other art forms. Their live score for the groundbreaking Ukrainian silent film Man with a Movie Camera premiered at the Wende Museum of the Cold War in Los Angeles.
Dominyka was awarded First Prize at the International Juozas Pakalnis Competition and received a Presidential Honor from the Republic of Lithuania for her artistic achievements. She holds a Master’s degree from the Hochschule der Künste Bern, where she studied with Christian Studler and was supported by the Swiss LYRA Foundation. During her studies, she also served as Principal Flute of the Szczecin Philharmonic in Poland.
Her musical curiosity spans eras and traditions – she performs on a wide variety of flutes including baroque recorder, Lithuanian flute, Native American flute, penny whistle, Irish flute, and shakuhachi. She has performed with ensembles such as the Neue Philharmonie München, the Giorgio Cini Foundation in Venice, and the International Orchestral Institute Attergau (a Vienna Philharmonic project). Her recordings include Des Knaben Wunderhorn with conductor Graziella Contratto on the SRF Radiostudio Zürich label.
